You can do an alignment with a 3/8 in piece of square stock, long enough to go between the two clutches. Open the secondary and lay it in the middle and let it close on the stock. When it reaches through the primary, you can measure your offset (x,y) and move your motor so you are in spec. Rule of thumb, the belt should be just off the fixed half of your primary and the front measurement on the primary should be slightly bigger than the rear of the primary.(allows for the movement of the engine under torque). Then just adjust your belt tension, with your belt riding just above your secondary.
