 | How To: Change your brakes  In recreational snowmobiling, being able to stop on a dime is often far more important than being able to tear off the line like a bat out of hell.
Checking your brakes for proper operation every time you start your sled is a safe practice but checking your sled's brakes for mechanical wear periodically is a good idea too. If your sled squeals at you every time you pull on the brakes, then changing your brakes is overdue.
