AmSnow columnist, racer raising funds for Pink Ribbon Riders

Published: Friday, November 21, 2008
In September 2007, my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was a year of surgeries, chemotherapy and reconstructions, along with the added stresses of losing hair, fear about the future and many sleepless nights. In 2008 over 250,000 women and men will be diagnosed with some form of breast cancer and over 40,000 will die of the disease.

I am Tom Clement, columnist for American Snowmobiler magazine, enthusiast and husband of a breast cancer survivor. I am also a cross-country snowmobile racer on the USCC circuit trying to raise awareness for breast cancer and its victims. All of my racing efforts this winter will be dedicated to generating donations for Pink Ribbon Riders, a snowmobile enthusiast driven breast cancer charity helping women who already have the disease. All proceeds and donations I receive from my racing efforts will go directly to Pink Ribbon Riders.

Think of the women and men who have touched your life and help me help them. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated. You can donate directly to Pink Ribbon Riders by going to their Web site at www.pinkribbonriders.com and filling out a donation form. Thank you for your support!

Thank you to my sponsors for their generous support:
