Triton TC227 Enclosed Trailer review

This new trailer from Triton is lightweight, fully enclosed, and pulls like a dream. At 7-feet wide it’s slightly narrower and more aerodynamic than some trailers and sits nice and low with the wheels on the outside, instead of directly underneath.

This one looks like a long 2-up snowmobile trailer with a coverall due to its “hip style” roof. But it’s a fully enclosed trailer and its tandem axles and light aluminum construction are great for hauling long distances. This is more aerodynamic and easier to see around than many wider trailers when hauling as well.

There is a full-size fixed position spring-assisted rear ramp loading door and you can add all kinds of accessories on it, just like you can larger trailers. Options like the Quad Flooring, lighting, fuel doors and more are all possible on this economical trailer. Fitting 3 sleds staggered, or 3 ATVS in line is no problem. In addition, smaller SUVs will have an easier time hauling the more manageable TC227 than larger trailers. All TC models have loading ramps with a tough molded transition area and a flexible bridge between the deck and the loading ramp as well, so debris is kept clear.

Triton offers many trailer options, but with the TC you get a 3-year limited warranty when registered online (1-year trailer registrations have a 1-year warranty). This welded aluminum trailer with heavy-duty A-frame tongue and durable frame has aluminum skin and a diamond plate front stone skid guard on its nose as well as interior wooden kick plate protection.

You’ll be seen with this trailer too as it has LED taillights and marker lights and there is a limited lifetime warranty on the fully treated marine grade decking. The TC comes in black, white, metallic charcoal gray, light metallic pewter or you can get a color upgrade to Realtree AP Camo.
