American Council of Snowmobile Associations releases latest version of Snowmobiling Facts and Myths

There are over 137,000 miles of snowmobile trails across the United States. The majority are open to other recreation uses like cross-country skiing, dog sledding, snowshoeing, winter hiking and/or fat tire bicycling. These trails are funded solely by snowmobilers and often shared with other winter activity enthusiasts.

The 3rd version of the very successful FACTS and MYTHS was unveiled at the DC Fly-In last week. Every legislative office received a copy of the Facts and Myths -- which has become a very important resource tool.

Included in the newest version ... Studies on Economic Impact, Soil and Vegetation, Emissions/Air Quality, Wildlife Impacts and Snow/Water Quality. There are also sections on Recreation Conflicts, Multiple Use Recreation and Partnerships.

If you'd like to view and download a copy for yourself, you may do so here!
