Buyers Guide: AmSnow's Best of the Best Snowmobiles 2010 Arctic Cat's 2010 best sleds

Best Sled: Arctic Cat Sno Pro 500 FUN, FUN, FUN … that's all we can say. The entry-level racer was a near unanimous pick because we ALL loved it, no matter our age. Not enough horses? Aw' Com'on! This thing's so nimble, so light and feels so racy and rugged that, unless you're on an open lake, you'll outperform most of your buddies! Plus you'll be smiling all the way to the bank watching them try to keep up with you on trails or through rough stuff!

Best Touring: Arctic Cat TZ1 Turbo LXR Giddy-up baby, this turbo two-up runs faster than most short-tracks and is as luxurious as any tourer, heated seats and all. Comfort, speed and a strong 4-stroke too, not much more you could ask for that'd be legal! |
Best Mountain: Arctic Cat HCR King of the Hill? You bet. The others keep improving, but so does the M sled, which in its new HCR version is the highest performance sled a consumer can get for the mountains. Add to that a lighter, horsier 800 engine and taller and lighter new seat that gives this a new look. Plus we still love the telescoping handlebars. Winner! |
