Ski-Doo’s revamped Summit X really impressed us when we rode the prototype in Spring of 2010, so impressive we gave the Summit our Best Mountain Snowmobile title.

The decision for these awards are always difficult as we have to decide after spending a limited amount of time on the machines, so it’s during the following winter on our long-term tests that we can really form impressions and find out how the machines work in a range of conditions and terrains. This season we were fortunate to have a Summit X 800R E-TEC 154 in our fleet and spent many days evaluating its workings.
