American Snowmobiler's 2010 New York ShootoutPERFECT CONDITIONS CREATE FAST TIMES AT AMSNOW’S 21st NEW YORK SHOOTOUT

Photo by Mark Savage Fast times were the buzz at the 21st Annual American Snowmobiler/Dynotech New York Shootout in the Adirondack town of Woodgate, N.Y. After being pretty much “snowed out” last year with 3+ feet of snow in 24 hours, we had a much more manageable 3-6 inches on the ground this year. Near perfect conditions helped our racers put the power down and helped erase the memories of last year’s “once in a lifetime” blizzard that cut action short. Temps hovered in the low 20s and the sun tried to peak through gray skies much of the day. Best though, the track was rock solid and fast. |
