December 30, 2010 The lie detector, heartbreaker, reality checker, call it what you will – dynamometers (dynos) are a necessity for motorsports modifiers and performance enthusiasts from snowmobilers to bikers.
To use a modern dynamometer effectively you must have knowledge of what exactly a dyno is, how it works, the differences between dynos, and all kinds of other important dynamometer knowledge. Not everyone who quotes dyno numbers is an expert, and even experienced dyno operators can make mistakes, but anyone running a dyno should at minimum be highly educated on them. |
