Hi there. Yeah I did that. I got my mounts from bondi. Jaws pipes. it was a nice set up the sled was real light and fun in the trails but I still prefer the ck111. A problem I had was I couldn't keep a belt in it for some reason?..

Any suggestions as to why you couldn't keep it from spitting belts? Do you think it had anything to do with the three piece motor mounts? Were you running a torque arm?

I'm not sure.. I did have a torque are on it.. I had done it so many times, then I got some other guys to do it. and still I must have blown 20+ belts.. about 5 belt guards.. 2 belly pans.. at the end I said the hell with it.. I broght it to D&E.. so he told me that the chassis is real soft.. not stiff.. so he put double washer.. and roughed up the bulk head so they would grab better.. and he too did not like the 3 mounts.. as I picked it up from Don.. the stator blew.. right in his yard actually.. so that was it. I pulled it all appart.. sold the mounts,pipes..this was just my experience with it.. I'm sure other have had great success.. one thing I did pull a good number on snow  but blew a belt on the way through the gun...lol

Re: 809 in a zx chassis?

I have a 1017 mod triple on nitrous in an MXZ chassis.  Use new plate & Briggs torque arms to brace engine ... never a blown belt.  I also have an 890 triple with Jaws pipes for the MXZ chassis for sale if you're interested ... thx
