Re: CHANGING TRACK ON F7 DIAMOND DRIVE???
thats the type of info i was looking for, thanks so, i did not have to take the "cover" off the diamond drive- brake handle side of the sled? so what you are saying once i free up the "throttle" side, the whole shaft will slide to the throttle side an clear the other side and come out?? that "retainer" nut/collar...what is the recommended way to take that off? thanks again Phil

Re: CHANGING TRACK ON F7 DIAMOND DRIVE???
Yes, that is right. there is a special socket to hold that nut. or you can beat it around with a punch/chissel. I do it backasswards though and leave the brake caliper and bracket intact. I Remove that big nut, then the bolts holding the entire Ddrive case to the chassis (leave the cover bolts alone) and pull the case out of the sled, slide the shaft out that way. there is also a bolt Inside the center of the shaft, look in there. it holds the shaft to teh lower gear. you need to remove that either way. loosen that and the big nut before you loosen the track or skid.
