Racing

Well it was too bad to hear that it was canceled. I did talk to jerry on friday he said to pass along that next season is gonna be awsome. With some possible new twists next season can only be better. Everyone always has a good time. Its also a great way to raise money for the club. By the look of things hill raceing is growing. We want to keep it well oganized and the best hill race on the east coast. lets hear any ideas or comments. Good luck to all over the summer. See everyone next year.      

let the club keep 25 percent and pay out the rest ,have them evry other saterday night

Durring the snow season its hard to get the hill any time other than sunday night due to the skiers.  But I think jerry mentioned doing more sat races in the spring. As far as the pay back goes it is a fundraiser for the club. At the last race they did payback in the king of the hill class. mabe they can figure a way to spread that out evenly instead of just the big class.

The tee shirt were a big hit too.

Where were you revedup for Plattekill?

Plattekill is going to have 2 night races next year and one 2 day event like always.If you need my #607 287 9195,I'll try to help out as much as possible.

Bob i was all set to go till last minute found out my reeds were shot. Never seen a set that bad. I think they have been that way and getting worse for for the last few races. I was excited to see what she was gonna do this weekend. I put the light weight panels on and everything. Its next year now.                 REDOO Yes I also think the tshirts were a good idea evryone gets one instead of just the winners. At least you come home with something win or loose. I still need to look at that cat somtime if i get out that way. 1970's fullmod cat hillracer better watch out.lol  Whats your number? 

What is all the dates for next years hillclimb at Toggenberg? So we dont have the same dates at swain mt.  thanks

wiser 41 Its a little early for dates but as soon as we find out im sure jerry will make sure they get posted. If you could do the same that would be great. Makeing the dates nonconflicting with all the other hillraces is gonna be hard for next year. It looks like there is gonna be interest in holding more of these events at some other places. So anyone who finds out dates for the other races please post them asap.       redoo are there supposed to be petals ? lol cause mine were mostly gone. That must have been the problem the night at song when we were messing with the carbs. I think it just got progressivly worse. 

it would be great to get all these mountains to work together and some of us guys to organize some kind of points system for the year so that all of us guys that are spending a fortune during the year could have a payout at the end of the season for a points title in each class. i am sure with all the money these clubs are getting they could contribute a little bit from their race to each class for an end of the year points title. or they could even make it as simple as a stock point title and a mod point title. a points system would not be very difficult with some oranized help from a group of us racers
