Ski-Doo unleashes its newest weapon, the rMotion

Photo by Ski-Doo’s new rMotion suspension that debuts on the X-RS for 2012 remains inside the tunnel and increases travel while also being easier to adjust than current suspensions on other makes. Few things get copied faster in this industry than a genuinely good idea. When Ski-Doo introduced its REV model, and gained a new level of rider comfort by moving the rider forward and closer to the vehicle’s pitch center, other manufacturers had similar models within a few model years. The increased comfort was not because of any great innovation in suspension design, the driver was just moved forward and away from larger amplitudes of suspension travel further back on the suspension.
