POLARIS STOCK 850 RMK REMAINS UNDEFEATED IN RMSHA PRO CLASS HILLCLIMBS

Stock Polaris 850 RMK sleds powered by the 850 Patriot engine remain undefeated in RMSHA Pro Stock competition after Polaris racers won all four Pro Stock classes in the season-opening Bear Lake Hillclimb held Feb. 5-6 in Geneva,
Idaho.

Now in its third season of competition, Polaris RMK sleds have won all Pro Stock 900 and Pro Stock 1000 classes at every RMSHA hillclimb since the 850 Patriot engine was introduced.

Polaris hillclimbers dominated the Bear Lake competition, winning all four Pro Stock classes (not including Pro Master and Pro Senior), winning nine of 12 Pro classes, and claiming 26 of 36 Pro-class podium spots (top-three finishes). Polaris racer Keith Curtis won all three Pro King of the Hill titles, and Polaris racers won all three Semi-Pro classes.

Keith Curtis Goes Five for Five

Racers can enter up to five classes at each RMSHA event, and Curtis had a perfect weekend on his Polaris sleds, winning all five of his Pro classes – 600 Stock, 900 Stock, 1000 Stock, 900 Improved Stock, and 900 Modified – before winning the Stock, Improved Stock, and Modified King of the Hill crowns.

Polaris racer Luke Rainey earned five podium spots that included wins in Pro 700 Stock and Pro 1000 Improved Stock. He took second in Pro 900 Stock and Pro 1000 Stock, and was third in Pro 900 Improved Stock.

Erin Beukelman claimed four top-three finishes as he won the Pro 700 Modified class, was second in Pro 900 Improved Stock and Pro Open Modified, and finished third in Pro 900 Modified.

Andy Thomas won the Pro 600 Modified class and was second in Pro Open Modified.

Polaris hillclimber Sam Peterson finished second in both Pro 600 Stock and Pro 600 Improved Stock, Les Keller was second in Pro 700 Improved Stock, and Cole Thomas earned three podium spots, taking second in Pro 700 Stock and third in Pro 600 Stock and Pro 700 Improved Stock.

Polaris Pro racers with third-place finishes were Kyle Heap (Pro 700 Stock), Tanner Meyers (Pro 600 Improved Stock), and Justin Thomas (Pro 1000 Improved Stock).

Long-time Polaris stalwart Dolan Phelps won the Pro Master Modified class at Bear Lake.

Polaris Sweeps Semi-Pro Classes

Polaris racers Dylan Hart and Tanner Thomas dominated the Semi-Pro classes. Hart won and Thomas was second in Semi-Pro Stock and Improved Stock, and their finishing order was reversed in Modified, where Thomas won ahead of Hart. Tyler Coles took third in Semi-Pro Stock.

In Women’s Stock, Tayler Meyers won and Tayler Peck took third.

Kaden Rainey won the Juniors and Amateurs Improved classes, and Conner Eliason was third in Amateurs Improved. Polaris racer Tregen Phelps won the Juniors Age 12-13 class, and Conner Eliason won Amateurs Modified.

The RMSHA circuit returns to Geneva, Idaho Feb. 12-13 for the Bear Lake II Hillclimb.
