Boondock Nation Gears Up For Sixth Season of Travel

News

Boondock Nations first season was launched in 2016 starring its founding members: Dylan Rose and Jack Sarama. Since then, Boondock Nation has become a travel resource for the snowmobile community, showcasing sled towns, resorts, restaurants and the people that make these locations so special—all across the Western United States and Canada.

In the 2019-20 season, the team traveled more than 13,000 miles to capture the beauty of locations from Valemount, BC, to Meeker, CO, and many stops in between. Even with the arrival of COVID-19 in March, the team continued to push the limits in their backyard zones in southeastern Idaho to keep the season—and the content—alive.

As 2020 continues to be a rollercoaster ride nobody ever expected, the Boondock Nation team has its eyes set on continuing to do what they love for a sixth season. While travel becomes more and more complicated in the midst of a pandemic, one thing is still certain: theres no replacement for spending time outdoors.

Being able to ride snowmobiles in some of the most remote locations in the world is the ultimate freedom, and perhaps the most effective way to avoid a virus, too.

The team plans to spend the winter in Idaho again, making the move from Wisconsin in November. From there, the team will travel to Revelstoke, BC and Northern Wisconsin in December, followed by a series of stops in Idaho and the surrounding states from January through May. In each location, the team plans to feature guest riders in each video, ensuring that no video is the same and viewers are introduced to many industry professionals throughout the winter.

After a successful 2019-20 season, the riders are focused on pushing their own limits this season, and are excited to suit up in FLY Racing gear.

Last season, Boondock Nation partnered with FLY Racing to wear FLY gear from head to toe and put it to the ultimate test: 60-plus days in the backcountry. Throughout its travels across the continent, the team saw minus 40 degree F temps, feet upon feet of fresh snowfall and 70 degree sunny spring days on the snow. With feedback from Boondock Nation riders and many other industry professionals, FLY Racing has created its best gear yet for 2021. This season, the Boondock Nation riders will again trust FLY Racing gear to protect them from the elements in the backcountry.
