We’ve toured a number of snowmobile manufacturing facilities in North America and Japan but had yet to get a coveted tour of BRP’s Rotax factory in Gunskirchen, Austria.
That opportunity came in October and it was everything we imagined it might be as we watched many cool and interesting processes as snaked through the 904,168-square-foot facility, viewing all facets of engine production from entire engine builds to crankcase production to plasma coating to dynos to R&D and much more.
Some things we can talk about and others, well, you’ll have to wait to see what’s coming down the straße.
