It’s a big day for the folks in Jackson Hole. CEO/president of the chamber of commerce, Anna Olson, lists a few reasons of what snowmobile fans can look forward to. “This event has so many aspects that are good for the destination of Jackson Hole,” she said. “The timing, the location, the reach and the sheer excitement of the event itself. The chamber of commerce enthusiastically supports this event which will draw huge crowds to Jackson Hole at this time of year. We know our members will be ready to provide a great winter vacation experience with world class skiing, restaurants, lodging and outfitting. We hope snowmobile fans will stay a few days and enjoy some of our incredible free riding available in the surrounding backcountry.”

The area has plenty of experience hosting world class events. The World Championship Snowmobile Hillclimb is the most prestigious hillclimb events in the world. In addition, Snow King Mountain and the surrounding area have some of the best backcountry snowmobile riding of anywhere in the United States. With the elevation changes and the large accumulations of snow this area receives every winter, it is a world class destination for snowmobilers and race fans alike.

“Snow King is extremely excited to host such a world class event at the base of our iconic mountain and with our location just blocks from downtown Jackson, we will have an exceptional setup for visitors around the country to come check out the snocross action and enjoy all that Jackson Hole has to offer,” Ryan Stanley, general manager of Snow King Mountain Resort, said.

With the partnership of CBS Sports and Live Stream, this race will be broadcast to snowmobile enthusiasts worldwide. For those who to attend the Jackson Hole Snocross National, you’ll find fun and excitement for the entire family. The fan-favorite demo rides will be onsite near the race track and there will be plenty of opportunities to get close to the racing action and meet your favorite racer.

For ISOC, lots of snow, a historic region for racing, and a supportive enthusiastic host are just a few of the many reasons for fans to get excited, according to president Carl Schubitzke. ”We are thrilled to expand the national tour’s footprint and enter the western snowmobile market. I believe that Jackson Hole will be especially successful and exciting because they have supported the event from the very beginning. Additionally, the large amount of snow will allow us to build a large track for the teams and racers. “
