The slight cornering bobble is not something typical of Ski-Doo sleds. Most of the time, the harder you push a REV X chassis in the twisties, the better it performs. However, as stated previously, the longer carbide blades made a WORLD of difference. You also cannot beat all the adjustment and performance you get with this stock snowmobile suspension. The RAS 2 front end with KYB Pro 40 piggyback clicker racing shocks with compression and rebound adjustment are just awesome.

We still wish you did not have to get spanner wrenches out to adjust spring tension in the coil over shocks, though. We harp on this all the time, but the X-model shocks have easy-to-adjust springs that you can turn with your hand and have nice numbers along the shock body so you know exactly where your springs are set. We think the X-RS should have an easy type of setup too.

Why buy?
You could buy this sled with all the adjustability and electric start for $15,149 US brand new. That’s a lot, but consider this is basically a full-on race sled with all the trail amenities on it.
