Is it on snowest, because the forums seem pretty slow (dead?) right now...I'm hearing the SnoBQ is this Sunday.
Some of it was small enough to move without sawing, we chose our path through to minimize cuts, so maybe an hour?, but between me getting stuck awkwardly / thrown from the logs up around the top and running to town to get a chainsaw and coming back, our day was over basically... and our season... but its all an adventure anyway, just some seasons end a little differently than others! Riding 2-up on mixed snow and gravel carrying a saw and gas and bar oilWe rode around that log jam on May 7th. How long did it take you to get through that mess?
All I can say is - what a difference a week makes... we had a number of stretches of gravel before the debris pile, and like go high fast said, the snow bridges over that little creek were just hanging on to the brush basically and probably would not have lasted another day, so you'd be riding through the rocks of that little creek too and trying to get out the other side...That was my last ride of the season and we were able to ride slush from the turnout to the debris pile. It's always a rodeo when you have to ride gravel for an extended period.
